Backpacks & Bow Ties, conceived by an individual envisioning a novel approach to wedding photography, is a distinctive venture focused on capturing the adventurous spirit of couples eloping to unique destinations. Recognizing the need for a compelling brand identity, the founder approached me to spearhead the development of the entire brand. Nestled in the picturesque landscapes of Western North Carolina, the brand naturally lent itself to an outdoor company spin-off. Leveraging the black bear as the central mascot, I meticulously crafted an illustrative style that not only resonated with the brand's ethos but also became an integral part of its identity. Every aspect of the brand, from print to digital assets, was thoughtfully designed to radiate a sense of fun, warmth, and, above all, adventure. By meticulously curating the illustrative elements, I played a key role in shaping Backpacks & Bow Ties into a brand that invites couples to embark on a visually captivating journey through their elopement experiences.
